Admin Database

The admin database is an application that is used internally to keep track of the different ways the department interacts with faculty at Georgetown University. One could think of it as a limited scope CRM with a feature set that is custom tailored to the needs of the department.

This project was my first Django project and I worked with another developer and designer to develop the application. My primary role here was to map put the database relationships and build the app.

I also added a simple API to this app so that we can use the central user data for other websites. For example, a staff member’s profile could be updated in the Admin Database and the the content would also get updated on the main department website.

I continue to lead development efforts in this project and am a key contributor to the project.
